AWS DevOps Lead
for a
contract
with a client in
Dallas, TX / Minneapolis, MN(Hybrid).
The candidate must have deep hands-on expertise in AWS services, EKS, and Terraform to lead cloud architecture and DevOps initiatives.
Rate Range:
$60/hour to 64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AWS DevOps Lead job responsibilities include:
Design and implement scalable, secure AWS architectures, including multi-region redundancy and disaster recovery strategies. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts. Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub. Lead cloud migration projects, including application modernization and database migration from on-prem to AWS. Ensure cloud security compliance, managing IAM policies, encryption, SSL certificates, and WAF configurations. Collaborate with product teams and guide offshore teams, ensuring smooth execution of DevOps practices and delivery timelines. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and DevOps, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services including EKS, Terraform, and CI/CD tools like GitLab and Jenkins. Pay Details:
$60.00 to $64.00 per hour
