Great Opportunity To Operate Metal Machinery/Molding And Fabrication Equipment
The position begins in grinding, where you will use a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges and polish metal to a fine finish. There will be opportunities to cross-train in basic fabrication, which includes cutting metal to length using a tape measure, operating a brake press, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. You will also assist in other departments such as assembly, packaging, and paint as needed. Will be trained on multiple machines. Responsibilities
Operate a hand grinder to smooth and polish metal surfaces. Cut metal to specified lengths using a tape measure. Perform basic fabrication tasks including brake pressing and spot welding. Assist in racking metal for painting processes. Support other departments like assembly, packaging, and paint when required. Essential Skills
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through work experience, schooling, or hobbies. Experience with sheet metal and grinding processes. Proficiency in using a tape measure and understanding basic math. Experience with hand and power tools, welding, and fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least 6 months of manufacturing experience. Experience reading tape measures. Experience in shop classes such as welding, automotive, woodworking, or machine/tool. Why Work Here?
