The
Accounting Manager
will oversee the companys accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting and cost accounting. This position plays a key role in supporting management decision-making by providing timely financial insights and maintaining strong internal controls. The
Accounting Manager
will lead the accounting team while collaborating with other departments to support the companys operational and strategic objectives.
What you will be doing:
Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger.
Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes; provide variance analysis and recommendations to management.
Monitor, evaluate, and improve cost accounting processes to support manufacturing efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, tax filings, and external audit requirements.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to build a high-performing team.
Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, providing financial analysis and business insights.
What you will need:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of
accounting experience, including 2+ years in a Lead or management role within a manufacturing company.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
