Mobile Mammography Technologist - Driver
Department: Radiology Location: Imaging Center - RGH Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Monday - Friday, Occasional Saturdays, 7:00am - 5:30pm Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 Summary: As a Mobile Mammography Technologist, your expertise and compassionate demeanor play a critical role in our community outreach goal in the Finger Lakes Region. Responsibilities: Patient Care. Responsible for performing screening mammograms, gathering patient histories, and performing client intake. Operates digital imaging equipment Documentation. Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts Coach. Driving the Mobile Mammography Coach throughout 9 counties within the Finger Lakes Region; Ensures proper safety standards are met; Assists in maintaining supply inventory Required Qualifications: NYS License in Radiologic Technology. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) Required. Commercial Driver License (CDL) to be obtained within 4 months of hire date. Preferred Qualifications: Computer skills highly desired. Participation in required mammographic continuing education highly desired. Associates degree preferred. Radiology Technologist and Mammography experience preferred. Education: Licenses/Certifications: NYS CDL - New York State Commercial Driver License (class A, B or C) - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV), RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED), RTC - Radiologic Technologist certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
