Job Duties: Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedureSterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgeryPreparing the patient for surgeryPassing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operationTaking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies prior to the operationRecounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operationMaintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgeryJob Requirements:Certified Surgical Technologist required or First Assist2 years' experience in the OR preferredPositive attitudeAble to work well with multiple physicians
