Overview:
An established construction firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager
to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate brings leadership, financial acumen, and a commitment to high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Lead overall project planning, logistics, and execution from pre-construction through closeout. Maintain full financial oversight including cost forecasting, reporting, and budget management. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain project schedules and deliverables. Conduct scope development and project buy-out, including issuing contracts and purchase orders. Prepare and submit owner pay applications and review subcontractor payment requests. Review drawings and specifications; ensure compliance and update documentation as needed. Manage RFI and submittal processes; maintain document control systems. Coordinate site activities, enforce safety protocols, and uphold quality standards. Lead project meetings and facilitate communication between stakeholders. Support change management, value engineering, and reconciliation activities. Mentor and support team members to drive performance and professional growth. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects. Proven ability to lead multiple projects, teams, and deliver results under tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Sage 100 (preferred). Strong knowledge of cost management, auditing, financial reporting, and billing processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and insurability required.
