Material Handler Pay:
$16-18.50/hr. (depending on experience) Shift:
Mon-Fri (7am to 3pm) Description: Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a
Material Handler
to safely and orderly deliver pallets and products throughout the manufacturing facility. Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions. Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner. Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed. Ability to work in a variety of roles. Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Responsibilities: Be available for Laser operators, Bend operators, material deliveries and Vendors. Pack/wrap orders as required by item/delivery type and prepare for shipment. Uses a computer as needed. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons, bundles and /or skids. Ability to perform tasks under pressure, and within a deadline driven environment. Ability to handle detail-oriented work to ensure proper items and quantities are picked to arrive at customers in good condition. Assemble wooden, cardboard, or skidded containers or select preassembled containers. Assemble skids or containers. Bind containers with metal strapping or tape as needed. Operates forklift or uses hand truck to move or hoist materials from inventory to shipping area and load trucks or containers per shipping instructions.
