The Vice President of Total Rewards will lead KeHE’s Total Rewards Centers of Excellence (COEs), playing a pivotal role in driving strategy and transformation of programs such as Compensation, Employee Benefits, Retirement Plans, and ESOP Management. This role partners with the CHRO and executive HR team to position HR as a strategic partner and will serve as a key advisor to the Compensation Committee, ensuring pay practices align with business strategy and support high performance across all units. All actions will be consistent with KeHE’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Essential Functions
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement a holistic Total Rewards strategy to strengthen employee value proposition, enhance retention, and align with organizational culture and goals. Partner with the CHRO and Compensation Committee on executive compensation strategy and reporting. Monitor market trends and ensure pay equity and compliance. Use workforce analytics and market insights to guide strategies and provide recommendations to leadership. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to align technology and data strategies. Advise the M&A Advisory Board on organizational design, cost efficiency, and business impact. Lead and develop a team of leaders, fostering growth and continuous improvement. Redefine processes through automation to improve efficiency and accuracy. Manage vendor relationships to drive innovation and cost savings. Oversee budget, ensuring financial goals are met. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Design and evolve compensation, benefits, and recognition programs aligned with business objectives. Deep understanding of pay-for-performance, incentives, and regulations. Financial acumen with knowledge of P&L impact and workforce ROI. Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures integration. Expertise in market surveys, job architecture, and competitive positioning. Strong knowledge in health, retirement, and wellness programs. Proficient in HR technology, data modeling, trend analysis, and analytics. Ability to influence senior leadership and board members. Experience leading enterprise transformations and managing teams. Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences. Manage vendor partnerships aligning with company culture and growth. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related technologies. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, and Aptitude
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. 12+ years of HR/Total Rewards experience, with 5+ years in leadership. Experience in compensation and benefits strategy for a growing company. Experience managing large rewards budgets and cost modeling. Success in leading HR transformations. Experience with stock-based compensation plans. Physical Requirements
