Position: IT Project Coordinator
Location: Hybrid: 3 days onsite in White Plains, NY 10601 & 2 days remote
Duration: 12+ months contract with potential extension
Shift timing: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift (7.5 hours paid workday with 0.5 hour unpaid lunch)
Pay Rate: $38/hr on W2

Project Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to join our team. The role involves supporting the management and execution of the Common App program, ensuring timely delivery, scope adherence, and effective coordination among team members. The project aims to upgrade key enterprise business applications and data components to supported versions, replacing End-of-Service and End-of-Life components. Job Functions & Responsibilities
Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects aligned with organizational goals. Support vendor management and procurement activities. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and status reports. Monitor project progress and escalate issues to meet timelines. Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders and senior management. Facilitate communication among project team members and stakeholders. Assist in preparing project documentation, including agreements and risk management plans. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure application meets requirements. Use project management software to track performance and goals. Ensure compliance with company policies and standards. Assist in budget management and resource allocation. Adhere to PMO processes and suggest improvements. Required Skills
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) Knowledge of the software development lifecycle Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Procore) Analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings and manage expectations Experience in training and user support Experience with change management and process improvement Advanced skills in assessing project performance and data analysis Proficiency in PMO processes including project portfolio, resource, and risk management Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field PMP or equivalent certification Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification (a plus)
