As a Gensler Interior Designer with our team in

Miami , your role is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You will collaborate with your teammates to develop design solutions and coordinate design through the construction documentation and construction administration phases of core, shell, and interior architecture projects. You should be able to translate sketches and documents into detailed 2D/3D models and images, and research artistic and technical issues as they arise. Your work ethic, collaboration, and mentoring skills will contribute to Gensler's engaging designs.

What You Will Do

Perform interior design assignments including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation. Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting. Generate floor plans, finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction. Provide design support and documentation during project execution. Handle Construction Documentation and Construction Administration to support project delivery. Work on multiple teams and support concurrent projects in various phases. Manage external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators. Utilize strong Revit skills to produce test fits and project deliverables.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited university. Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, 3D, Enscape, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Dynamo. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, and color selections. Strong graphics and visualization skills.
