Job Summary
Responsible for directing, implementing, and deploying physician and other disciplines operating initiatives to provide clinical services, increase growth, and expand market reach by service line, in line with the mission of NCHS and applicable laws and policies. Collaborates closely with employed Physicians and Department Directors. Analyzes, reviews procedures, and workflows for optimization of the overall NCPS business. Oversees improvements in data, systems, and business processes. Manages the business and administrative functions of NCPS Physicians, PCC Primary Care Practices (PCCs), Adolescent Medicine Practices, and others, including profit and loss (P&L) management, facility operations, and supervision of support staff.
Job Specific Duties
Lead initiatives to enhance clinical services, growth, and market reach by service line, ensuring alignment with NCHS mission and policies.
Analyze and review procedures and workflows to optimize outpatient business operations. Drive improvements in data, systems, and processes. Collaborate with physicians and directors. Oversee P&L management for practices and facility operations.
Plan, implement, develop, and evaluate programs within scope. Ensure goals align with strategic plans.
Manage daily operations and financial performance of medical practices and programs.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on areas of responsibility.
Implement process improvement plans targeting waste reduction, efficiency, quality, safety, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
Promote cost containment and ensure efficient contractual, billing, and financial operations.
Supervise staff attendance, productivity, and performance. Provide ongoing training and feedback. Facilitate access to training opportunities.
Position the organization to respond effectively to unplanned circumstances, fostering revenue growth and cost savings.
Develop and lead new strategic initiatives across the network and physician practices.
Partner with Health System service line leaders to ensure collaboration and high-quality care.
Align policies and processes to promote value-based care among NCPS and Health System entities.
Enhance revenue cycle processes with physician groups and departments to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
Collaborate with the hospitalist division to optimize costs and revenues through service agreements and referral development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field
3-5 years of experience in healthcare setting
Experience in community-based and multicultural environments
Supervisory experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Master's Degree preferred
Knowledge of healthcare business planning, marketing, and financial management
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to interpret technical and statistical data for broad problem-solving
