Cude Engineers is seeking a self-motivated, highly detailed candidate with 3-5 years of general bookkeeping experience. Qualified candidates should have a high proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Must have a general knowledge of accounting principles such as debits and credits, and cash vs. accrual accounting. Experience with Deltek Vision is preferred. Candidates should have good attention to detail, strong research and investigation skills, and be willing to handle all accounting tasks, including simple mathematical calculations and administrative duties like filing and scanning. Successful candidates will have a positive attitude and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Essential Duties
- Processing Accounts Payable invoices, including research, coding, and processing for accurate and timely disbursement to vendors.
- Reviewing and reconciling invoice and payment discrepancies.
- Performing data entry associated with accounts payable.
- Auditing and processing credit card bills.
- Assisting with annual preparation and filing of Federal 1099 reporting, including obtaining vendor documentation.
- Creating Accounts Receivable invoices.
- Performing light physical duties such as lifting files and boxes.
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned.
