Our client, a well-established organization in the property management industry, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee invoicing, collections, and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate and timely cash flow management. Responsibilities:

• Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging, making follow-up calls or sending correspondence to resolve overdue payments.
• Process customer payments promptly and accurately, posting receipts into the accounting system.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, working closely with customers and internal departments.
• Prepare and analyze AR reports for management, highlighting collection trends and areas of concern.
• Maintain comprehensive records of customer communications, payment history, and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including AR account reconciliations.
• Support financial audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts receivable function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of accounts receivable or related experience; industry-specific experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of AR processes, including invoicing, reconciliations, and collections.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively handling customer relations and disputes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
