Job Type: Full-Time About Illicit Gardens: Illicit Gardens is a leading cannabis cultivation and production company dedicated to providing high-quality cannabis products. Job Summary: On the Projects Team, the Packaging Specialist is responsible for accurately weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products in compliance with state regulations and company standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Weighing and Packaging: Accurately weigh cannabis products and place them into appropriate containers. Labeling: Ensure all products are labeled correctly with the necessary information, including strain, weight, and potency. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality control to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards. Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory of packaging materials and finished products. Compliance: Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding cannabis packaging and labeling. Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized regularly. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets. Reporting: Document and report any discrepancies or issues with packaging processes. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment, preferably in the cannabis industry. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
