Join the GreenWaste of Tehama Team! We are currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused CDL Driver to become part of our team!
This role involves outdoor work in all weather conditions. The schedule is Monday to Friday, starting at 4:30 AM, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed. Our starting pay ranges from $26.00 to $27.00 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a garbage truck or street sweeper on assigned routes to collect solid waste or clean streets. Previous waste experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Follow route sheets and service each customer listed or assigned by dispatch.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, which includes checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading materials often without assistance.
Use hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse, properly disposing of waste at designated facilities.
Interact courteously with customers and complete other job-related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
This position requires extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds.
Work involves potential exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts and requires adherence to safety precautions.
Employee is exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including frequent wet environments, as well as fumes and vibration. Noise levels are generally moderate.
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
Clean driving history
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Basic understanding of truck components for conducting pre- and post-trip inspections.
