Senior Application Analyst
to join their IT Applications team, supporting a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other applications within a central supply chain environment. This position is based onsite in Houston, TX and plays a key role in coordinating IT efforts across internal teams, vendors, and end-users. Must-Have Qualifications
Experience with
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Strong knowledge of
Windows Server environments
Proficiency in
SQL
including the ability to create and modify scripts
Excellent
verbal and written communication
skills, with experience managing project and issue tracking lists
Willingness to participate in an
on-call rotation Nice-to-Haves
Experience working with an
ERP system
(Infor or similar) Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree
plus two (2) years of experience OR four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
At least
three (3) years
of progressive experience in corporate systems development and support
Background in
system analysis, design, testing, and implementation , ideally within a Healthcare Management Information Systems environment
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to support complex problems
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and mentor other analysts
Planning and organizational expertise Key Responsibilities
Technical Administration
Provide technical support for applications and system environments
Analyze, design, test, and implement system changes
Apply IT methodologies and best practices to deliver reliable system performance Project Coordination
Plan, prioritize, and execute tasks based on project timelines
Coordinate across departments to maintain alignment on project goals
Maintain status reports and documentation to inform leadership Systems Development
Translate user needs into technical solutions
Participate in project reviews and process improvement efforts Technical Standards
Promote and enforce development and support standards within IT Application Support
Provide expert-level support for application issues and enhancements
Support system integrity and interface performance between multiple warehouse systems
Participate in after-hours support as part of an on-call rotation Training & Documentation
Develop and conduct training sessions for staff as needed
Maintain clear documentation of systems, procedures, and support guides Customer Service
Deliver professional, responsive, and courteous support to users and internal customers Other Duties
Perform special projects and duties as assigned
