CUAS System Engineer

Join a mission-critical team at the forefront of defense innovation. As a CUAS System Engineer, you will be instrumental in protecting national security by helping design, develop, and integrate cutting-edge technologies that detect, track, and mitigate threats from rogue drones. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding airspace integrity and protecting critical infrastructure across military and civilian domains. Responsibilities: Analyze existing systems and define, design and develop new system requirements Provide technical oversight and systems engineering support across all phases of the program lifecycle, from concept development through deployment. Review, analyze, and manage system requirements and capabilities. Support development of ICDs, CDDs, CPDs, CONOPs, and other acquisition documentation. Plan, prepare, and execute system validation and verification activities. Analyze performance data and document test results under diverse operational and environmental conditions. Lead efforts to integrate CUAS and other defense technologies into existing systems, ensuring operational interoperability and mission effectiveness. Prepare technical documentation including Systems Engineering Plans, Risk Management Plans, trade studies, and system performance assessments. Provide expert technical recommendations, participate in engineering IPTs, and support program reviews, technology readiness assessments, and configuration audits. Analyze threat intelligence and emerging technologies to support capability development and risk mitigation strategies. Develop and deliver briefings, decision papers, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders, including military leadership and acquisition authorities. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years direct experience in systems engineering, preferably in defense or aerospace Active DoD secret security clearance Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, and verification/validation Proficiency in developing technical briefs and documentation Experience in requirements management and systems integration Familiarity with radar, electromagnetic warfare, or kinetic defeat technologies Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in engineering or related STEM field 10+ years supporting DoD weapon systems or programs Previous experience working within an Army Program Office Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments U.S. Citizenship Required for this Position:
