Office Assistant (Temp to Hire)
Location:
Los Angeles, CA Schedule:
100% On-Site M-F 8am to 5pm Pay Rate:
$24 - $28 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview:
A professional and organized
Office Assistant
is needed to support daily administrative and facilities operations in a busy office environment. This is a
temp-to-hire
position, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to maintaining smooth office workflows. Key Responsibilities: Receive, log, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and faxes
Process and send outgoing mail and packages via courier or postal service
Track and manage office, kitchen, and janitorial supplies inventory
Perform light maintenance on office equipment and coordinate service as needed
Set up and maintain conference rooms and common areas
Provide basic facilities support including loading/unloading dishwasher and tidying shared spaces
Manage physical and digital file systems, including archiving and retrieval
Scan and distribute incoming documents
Assist with document preparation (copying, binding, collating, etc.)
Greet visitors, answer and direct phone calls when covering reception
Prepare workstations for new employees, including equipment and supplies
Support hot-desking logistics by organizing and delivering employee materials
Perform additional administrative or office support duties as needed
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Experience:
3+ year in an office support, facilities, or administrative role
Software Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Other Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Must be fully available to work on-site
Pay Details:
$24.00 to $28.00 per hour
