Job Summary

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Operation Services Division, is seeking to fill one (1) full-time Office & Administrative Services Sr. position in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. This position supports regional Operation Services Division (OSD) program services, with a primary focus on the Buildings and Sustainability (BAS) program.

Duties for this position are but not limited to:

Purchasing within purchasing authority limits Invoice processing Project data administration and fiscal activities Administrative support services to OSD/BAS program staff Monitoring budgets Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Communication skills sufficient to generate readable and accurate written materials (e.g. information and instructional materials, letters, memos, and reports) free of spelling and grammatical errors. Word processing skills and typing skills sufficient to carry out advanced administrative tasks and produce accurate technical documents, letters, memos, and reports. Spreadsheet skills sufficient to organize data, create and modify spreadsheets and retrieve information from a variety of sources, and track projects and activities. Data management skills sufficient to manage and use databases and accurately enter data, compare documents to database information, edit, and prepare reports. Customer service skills sufficient to communicate to gather and relay information with tact and diplomacy. Ability to implement and provide input for program policies, procedures, and service standards in cooperation with Management Resource programs. Leadwork skills sufficient to manage work through others to achieve Management Resource objectives. Preferred Qualifications

Three (3) years in advanced administrative support role. Post-High school education in Business, Accounting or Finance. Experience with Microsoft Office, Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) at an advanced level. Experience with SWIFT (State- Wide Integrated Financial Tools) or equivalent enterprise accounting system, and ARCHIBUS facility management system. Knowledge of Operation Services Programs such as buildings and sustainability, design and construction, materials management, fleet, and procurement. Additional Requirements
