We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team for a direct hire client in Cleveland, Ohio!! In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including invoicing, payroll processing, and inventory adjustments, while supporting the daily operations of our office. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Someone with a strong general accounting background would be ideal. This is a direct hire position, in office, with standard business hours. APPLY TODAY!!! Responsibilities: Process and manage all invoicing activities to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. Handle accounts payable tasks, including entering invoices, verifying purchase orders, and ensuring proper matches. Perform time and material billing, ensuring precise calculations and documentation. Manage pricing activities independently to maintain consistency and accuracy. Process union payroll for approximately 60 employees, adhering to all relevant regulations. Prepare certified payroll reports in compliance with applicable standards. Oversee collections and cash receipts to maintain accurate financial records. Make inventory adjustments as needed to support operational efficiency. Fulfill reception duties, including greeting visitors and maintaining a welcoming office environment. Requirements: Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Proficiency in invoice processing and time/material billing. Familiarity with payroll and certified payroll procedures. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage collections and cash receipts effectively. Experience with inventory adjustments and pricing activities. Excellent communication skills for reception and visitor interactions. Knowledge of accounting software and tools is preferred.
