Under general direction of the Project and Program Supervisor, the senior analyst will support the Transportation Electrification Section in developing work products that advise and assist high-level decision-makers such as Commissioners, Judges, and Energy Division management. Main responsibilities include: Conduct research and technical analyses on complex energy policy and market issues with minimal direction. Develop creative solutions to analytical problems considering market and policy implications. Contribute to developing and refining parts of complex regulatory proceedings while managing larger project scopes. Represent the Energy Division and/or CPUC in high-profile settings, collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve clean energy goals. Organize and facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings; prepare reports as needed. Assist Commissioners, advisors, and management with issues in assigned areas. Review and comment on pending legislation and respond to inquiries from the public and legislative staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, project management abilities, leadership in team settings, resilience under pressure, and creativity in problem-solving.
