Job Summary Our client, a growing financial services company, is looking for a Temporary Recruiter to work 3 days a week onsite in Chicago, IL to help scale their talent pipeline—especially for early career, intern, and corporate roles. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating efficient hiring processes, and making a real impact on a company’s growth. What You’ll Do Lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, with a focus on graduate programs, internships, and exempt-level corporate positions. Partner with hiring managers to write clear, engaging job descriptions and define hiring needs. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract diverse, qualified candidates—especially through campus outreach and early career channels. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview logistics. Support interview prep and guide stakeholders through the selection process. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers on offer details, including salary recommendations and start dates. Ensure hiring practices comply with employment laws and internal policies. Represent the company at career fairs, campus events, and recruiting sessions. Track hiring metrics and share insights to improve recruiting outcomes. Jump in on other recruiting projects as needed. What You Bring 3–5 years of recruiting experience, ideally with exposure to campus or early career hiring. Strong communication and relationship-building skills—you’re great with candidates and internal teams. A proactive, self-starter mindset—you take initiative and enjoy solving problems. Excellent time management—you can juggle multiple roles and deadlines with ease. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS Understanding of employment laws and hiring best practices. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field—or equivalent experience. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus.
