Job Description
The industrial automation industry Automation & Control Systems Engineer will:

• Design and program PLC, HMI, and motion control systems for advanced manufacturing equipment.
• Develop, test, and commission new control architectures for custom machinery.
• Integrate robotics, sensors, and vision systems to enhance automation capabilities.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of existing control systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams on system design and integration.
• Prepare documentation, including electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and field service as needed.
• Contribute to Lean and CI initiatives aimed at increasing uptime, throughput, and system efficiency.

The Successful Applicant
The automation and manufacturing industry ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• Have 3+ years of experience in automation engineering or control systems design .
• Be proficient in PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with robotics integration, vision systems, and motion control.
• Be familiar with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design tools.
• Show strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Be able to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
