Accounts Payable And Accounts Receivable Assistant
This position is responsible for assisting with various accounts payable and accounts receivable activities for US Sales and Production Companies, general accounting functions including month end closing responsibilities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with freight invoices: Must be able to review and process high volume of freight invoices.
- Handle Inter-Company AP invoices: Review, code, and enter Inter-Company AP invoices from factories with various currencies. Work with co-workers to resolve any PO to invoice discrepancies. Resolve any other Inter-Company invoice issues as well.
- Maintain Foreign Sales and Purchases Spreadsheet: Maintain daily the Foreign Sales spreadsheet for both AR and AP invoices for our tax accountants.
- Assist Accounts Receivable: This could include processing customer invoices, record cash receipts, resolve outstanding accounts receivable balances, research customer credits on account, and respond to customer invoice inquiries.
- Support month end closing: Must be able to support month end and year end closings as needed.
- Audit support: Must be able to assist with audit requests and requirements as needed.

Your profile:
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles. Competency in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. SAP experience a plus. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required.
