Job Title: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/TELE RN)
Shift Schedule: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Start Date: September 2, 2025
Location: Must be more than 75 miles from the facility
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/TELE RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a proactive RN with recent experience in an acute care setting to provide high-quality patient care on a MedSurg/Telemetry unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to a diverse adult and geriatric population, adhering to established protocols and healthcare regulations.
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 during night shifts, ensuring all patients receive appropriate attention and care.
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately using the Epic electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and physical therapy to optimize patient outcomes.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and actively engage with Rapid Response Teams as necessary.
- Participate in patient education and support activities to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current New York State RN license required before submission.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting within the last 6 months.
- Proficiency in the Epic charting system is mandatory.
- Experience managing dysrhythmias and using non-invasive airway management techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work every other weekend is required.
- No first-time US assignments accepted; candidates must have prior travel experience.
