Graphic Artist
ROLE
We need an experienced Graphic Artist at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Research & Development (R&D) - Medical Research and Development Command (MRDC). DHA R&D-MRDC is a global command supporting medical research for warfighter's unique requirements. This division provides strategic communications, public affairs, marketing, and multimedia support to the PAO. In this role, you will design and publish visual products for slideshows, logos, publications, exhibits, and VIP/trade-show needs while ensuring 508-conformant outputs. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, edit, produce, and publish high-quality visual products and display materials across print and digital Deliver electronic and print outputs; ensure web deliverables and PDFs are 508-accessible with required alt tags Regularly propose new concepts with contractor and Government teammates to produce militarily relevant content Produce print deliverables in-house or at the highest quality possible for the cost Serve as on-site graphics POC to support reach-back; assist with gathering photos, maintaining the photo repository, and pre-client reviews Continually update and maintain an image library across research areas for presentations and productions Edit and format PowerPoints for consistency and uniformity across decks
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience supporting DoD customers Familiarization with AI Tools - preferred Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
EDUCATON
Degree in communication-related fields - preferred
