Northern, CA. Pay Range: $80k-$85k Position Overview:
The Regional Maintenance Specialist serves as a Maintenance Director in the absence of a community's Maintenance Director. This role involves planning, organizing, developing, performing, and directing general maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical plant, both interior and exterior, to ensure proper operations. The specialist oversees maintenance and housekeeping departments to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, in accordance with property policies and procedures. Responsibilities also include hiring, evaluating, coordinating, motivating, monitoring performance, scheduling, supervising staff, and making recommendations regarding staff evaluations, merit increases, reprimands, disciplinary actions, and terminations. This position may require travel throughout California, with extensive travel in Northern California. The right candidate should reside in Northern California.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with the skillset to train new Maintenance Directors and implement Oakmont systems from the ground up! Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in residential maintenance and/or housekeeping, handling upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters. Knowledge of building construction, budgeting, expense management, preventative maintenance software, and basic computer skills. Prefer at least one (1) year of supervising and managing employees.
