Behavior Counselor - North County SD (Finance)
Fred Finch Youth & Family Services is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health issues. We are currently seeking a Behavior Counselor to join our specialized Wraparound program, which offers personalized, community-based mental health services for youth and families referred by the San Diego Regional Center.
Responsibilities:
Support behavior strategies and provide direct behavioral interventions to participants and caregivers.
Work in residences or community settings, document services, and collaborate with other professionals.
Participate actively in supervision and uphold the Wraparound philosophy, emphasizing strengths-based, family-centered, and culturally responsive approaches.
Shifts Available:
Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm Benefits: 21 PTO days per year 9 Nationally Observed Holidays 401k matching up to 6% Affordable health care premiums Minimum Requirements: Degree or five years of experience in a mental health-related field. Understanding of developmental milestones of children, youth, or young adults. Ability to assess, organize, and triage work effectively. Knowledge of behavioral treatment approaches and experience with behavioral interventions. Cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families. Valid CA Driver's License or ability to obtain within 10 days. Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with coaching, training, and/or Applied Behavioral Analysis. Fluency in prevailing languages of the community served. Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities.
