$105k - $125k Annually
Position Overview
The Store Manager will oversee the Greenwich boutique, leading and inspiring a team of Sales Associates, stylists, and support staff to deliver exceptional results and uphold brand standards. In addition to driving store operations and profitability, this role will focus heavily on VIC (Very Important Client) development - building, nurturing, and retaining top-tier clientele through personalized engagement, events, and bespoke service experiences.
Responsibilities Of The Store Manager
Leadership & Store Operations: Direct all daily store functions, guaranteeing a polished, luxury-level environment. Translate business objectives into actionable sales and service strategies. Manage budgets, expenses, and profitability to align with company expectations. Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales and support staff. Foster a results-oriented culture through coaching, performance management, and professional development. Monitor store KPIs, analyzing data to drive improvements and growth. Deliver regular updates and business reviews to senior leadership. Safeguard compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and loss prevention practices. Anticipate challenges and implement proactive solutions that ensure business continuity. Client Development & Engagement: Serve as the face of the Greenwich boutique's VIC program, strengthening loyalty among top-tier clientele. Build and maintain meaningful, long-term client relationships through ongoing outreach and touchpoints. Offer personalized styling sessions, previews, and wardrobe consultations tailored to client preferences. Partner with corporate client engagement teams to execute exclusive events and activations. Expand the VIC base through referrals, networking, and community involvement. Leverage clienteling tools to capture purchase history, style preferences, and milestones to personalize service. Consistently track and measure client development performance to ensure objectives are achieved. Required Experience/Skills for the Store Manager:
5 - 10 years of retail management experience (luxury is preferred). Strong leadership background with proven ability to drive sales and lead teams. Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining high-value client relationships. Skilled communicator and natural networker. Proficiency with business reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and client events.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Store Manager:
Strong business acumen and experience in operational/financial management. Consignment and luxury retail background. Established local client book in Greenwich or the Tri-State area. Sophisticated fashion sense and up-to-date knowledge of current trends.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
