Job Overview: The Staff Accountant is responsible for delivering accurate, data-based information and maintaining accurate financial records. This role will be key in communication and offering financial transparency with the internal team and managing the relationship with external vendors. Responsibilities and Duties: Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and assist in the preparation of financial statements. Prepare bank reconciliation, record journal entries, and manage accounts receivables. Support vendor management by setting up in the account system and preparing related reports. Perform and coordinate project-based financial analysis and modeling to support reporting of the operation. Contribute to the budget, forecast, estimate and projection processes, providing helpful insight into underlying revenue and cost drivers. Review and manage departments’ expenditures, headcount, and purchase requisition approvals. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent is required. 1-2 years professional accounting experience for a public accounting firm is preferred. Proficiency in accounting and finance software (such as Quickbooks) is a plus. Fluent in Mandarin. Basic knowledge of accounting (financial statements, journal entries, debits/credits, etc.). Strong verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with basic software like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
