Looking for a dedicated person to join our family to as a Production Planner/Coordinator for our fastest growing manufacturing divisions!This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a company named a top workplace by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel 13 years running and be a part of the build out of a rapidly growing division.Flexible 1st shift hours, fun and independent working culture! Will consider motivated candidates without formal Production Planning work experience, but who may have other purchasing, inventory, shipping/receivingworkexperience or some supporting business education.Position Responsible For: Assist in managing/setting manufacturing priorities for production across 3 shiftsManaging customer order release portals and translating orders into production schedulesAssist in managing external subcontracting processes and resolving discrepanciesSupport inventory or purchasing transactions as needed for planning / delivery obligationsAssist in setting shipping/receiving priorities, and reviewing clocked hours and production quantitiesAssist in coordinating material & logistics for raw, WIP, FG, scrap materials between buildings or other departments as neededAssist as needed with inventory transactions, tracking, and organization of for raw materials and finished goods Assist in managing customer return and other quality processesOther responsibilities as assigned/needed in order to keep the department work flowing, may involve quality/inspection related processes & paperworkAssist in resolving order or production time and quantity discrepanciesRequirementsPreferred & Required Qualifications:Some prior experience in a role that allowed exposure to planning, purchasing, and/or inventory processesPrior hands on experience in manufacturing in a metals manufacturing environment strongly preferredPrior experience working within an ERP system required, and comfortable in Excel.Be self-motivated, hands on, natural team playerWilling to interface/communicate independently with floor leads and production team to resolve problems / meet customer needsAny business or supply chain education preferred, but not necessarily requiredAble to lift raw material and finished goods up to 35 poundsMust be able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day
