Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Sonographer with at least 2 years of adult ultrasound imaging experience for a variable shift position.
Responsibilities Work in a Level II Trauma Center with potential rotation to an outpatient imaging centerUltrasound department serving primarily adult patients, with pediatric experience preferredVariable 40-hour weekly shiftsMay float between main hospital and outpatient location as neededUses Cerner EMR systemDaily patient caseload and specific procedures will be discussed during the manager interviewSupport provided by lead technologist and physician teamOrientation details provided during interviewScrub attire must be a solid color and professional; facility scrubs may be provided if neededFree parking availableManagers approve requested RTOAnnual flu vaccination is required for assignment; medical exemptions only are considered and must be submitted at least two weeks in advance for reviewMaine residents are eligible if they live 100+ miles south or southwest of the facility and have not previously worked at any Northern Light Health facility in a permanent capacity; candidates 100+ miles north require individual approvalTravel pairs are not accepted for this position
