Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise plant maintenance personnel to ensure optimal performance. 2. Maintain machinery and support systems at maximum efficiency. 3. Follow, maintain, and evaluate preventive maintenance (PM) programs and schedules. 4. Administer the "Red Tag" program to monitor adherence to food safety goals through maintenance, sanitation, and quality verification steps. 5. Maintain strong working relationships with all other departments. 6. Train and cross-train mechanics in both mechanical and electrical repairs on various equipment. 7. Respond to breakdowns during off shifts and be available for contact during off hours. 8. Complete project jobs from preparing BOM lists to completion. 9. Ensure compliance with Company and OSHA rules related to safety, GMPs, security, and PPE policies. 10. Ensure compliance with EPA rules and regulations. 11. Keep the shop and maintenance areas clean and well-maintained. 12. Administer disciplinary action in accordance with Company policy when necessary. 13. Isolate repetitive line problems and collaborate with line leaders, Managers, and Chief Engineer for solutions. 14. Notify the Plant, Chief Engineer, Managers, and Quality Assurance Manager of pertinent issues in a timely manner. 15. Schedule work for maintenance personnel on the shift. 16. Communicate and administer all Company policies and procedures consistently. 17. Perform all other assigned duties. 18. Willingness to work extra hours or extra days if necessary. 19. Commit to a continuous improvement work team environment.

Working Relationship:
Work collaboratively with team members on the production line and maintenance.
Interface with all department management, leads, and machine operators.
Assist contractors as needed.
Work closely with leaders and management.
Supervise other mechanics.
Physical Demands:
Involves pushing, pulling, and bending.
Ability to work on feet for the entire shift.
Perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pulling, and climbing machinery and/or tooling.
Work in high ambient temperatures.
