Role Overview

We’re seeking a Solution Engineer with expertise in the mortgage domain and hands-on coding ability. You’ll partner with our sales team to deliver compelling demos, build tailored prototypes, and translate technical requirements into practical solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of sales, product, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives through the full sales cycle, including discovery, demos, solution design, and closing.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with lenders, banks, and credit unions to map workflows and integration needs.
• Build custom demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical prototypes using coding and scripting skills.
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering to align client requirements with roadmap and platform capabilities.
• Act as a subject matter expert on mortgage technology systems (LOS, POS, pricing engines, compliance, servicing).
• Handle technical validation: APIs, data flows, security, and integrations.
• Support RFPs, security reviews, and solution architecture discussions.
• Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth implementation after deal closure.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting for SaaS companies.
• Mortgage domain knowledge required — deep understanding of origination, underwriting, secondary, servicing, or compliance.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration scripting.
• Experience with cloud SaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineers and business leaders.
• Track record supporting enterprise sales cycles and working with C-level executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
