BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Support team. The candidate will work closely with the development team and our customers in the DoD and IC. The position will be on-site in Washington, DC at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and requires a TS/SCI w CI Po
What You Will Do

• Must meet all qualifications and skills of a Mid-Level developer plus possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
• Plan and lead major technology assignments.
• Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
• Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
• May supervise others.
  

What You Need To Have

• Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from a college or university accreditrted by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 2 years of related senior experience, for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java, JEE, or Python
• Experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
• Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development
• Experience with Linux OS and command line interface
• Top Secret/SCI w/Poly
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of start date
  

What We'd Like You To Have

• Experience with Open Systems Architecture design principles
• Experience with automated testing and DevOps technologies
• Experience with CI/CD technologies, including Ansible, Jenkins, and GIT
• Experience with Agile development or Scrum
• Knowledge of user interface (UI) technologies, including React or AngularJS
• Knowledge of Apache NiFi and Kafka
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
