A full-time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Santa Cruz, CA, serving a K-12 school district. This contract role involves working 37.5 hours per week, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., starting August 20, 2025, through June 12, 2026. The BCBA will support multiple schools, working with students aged 3 to 22 across 3 to 4 campuses.Key responsibilities include:Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral needs Developing, writing, and updating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Providing expert consultation and guidance to school staff on student behavior management Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to align behavior plans with educational goals Supervising and directing Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as they deliver behavior services Qualifications and Experience:Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required Experience working in educational settings with diverse student populations, preferably K-12 Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment tools and intervention strategies Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families Benefits of this role include a structured weekday schedule, diverse work environments across multiple school sites, and the opportunity to impact student success through specialized behavior support.This position offers professional challenges and rewards for a dedicated BCBA committed to enhancing educational experiences for students with behavioral needs.
