Accounting Manager

Controller
role tomorrow.We are a well-established and growing contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects. With a strong reputation in the industry and a commitment to operational excellence, we are now looking for an Accounting Manager who can bring leadership, systems thinking, and construction accounting expertise to the table. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, job costing, general ledger, and month-end close. Own the WIP (Work in Progress) schedule and support project managers with job costing, forecasting, and budgeting. Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and cash flow forecasts. Evaluate and improve current systems, workflows, and reporting processes. Play a key role in ERP upgrades or transitions (if applicable). Partner closely with leadership on strategic financial decisions and help prepare the business for scale. What We Are Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in the construction or trades industry Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, and GAAP accounting Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation, or similar) Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally Benefits: Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Hybrid work environment Clear path to advancement in a growth-oriented company Much more!
