Senior Property Manager (CRE)
Job Description Summary Responsible for managing the Property Management staff, overseeing a significant property portfolio, and serving as the primary contact for third-party relationships. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Direct, coordinate, and exercise responsibility for property management operations. Develop and interpret policies and strategies for property management, ensuring effective information flow. Lead and mentor Property Management staff, fostering career development. Monitor budget variances and oversee the recovery process. Manage billing processes, including invoice payments and fund disbursements. Oversee cash flow and requirements, ensuring efficient cash utilization. Prepare reports, annual budgets, and other documents for owners as per management agreements. Facilitate prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements. Maintain communication with third-party owners, ensuring compliance and timely reporting. Resolve tenant relations issues to ensure satisfaction. Conduct regular property inspections with staff. Oversee construction projects, including contract approval and invoice management. Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and governmental directives. Key Competencies Communication skills (oral and written) Customer focus Problem-solving and analysis Leadership abilities Teamwork orientation Time management Financial acumen Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Experience 5+ years in real estate property management or related experience. Additional Qualifications CPM, RPA, or CSM designation Real estate license Strong knowledge of finance and building operations Management and leadership experience Experience with lease and contract negotiations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Work Environment Professional office setting with routine use of standard office equipment. Regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical Demands Travel between floors and buildings, climbing stairs, and operating office machinery. May need to work in outdoor weather conditions and remain stationary for extended periods.
