Job Title General Manager (CRE) Job Description Summary Responsible for managing the Property Management staff, overseeing a significant portfolio of properties, and serving as the primary contact for third-party relationships. Job Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Direct, coordinate, and exercise responsibility for the property management business. Provide leadership through the development and implementation of policies, programs, and strategies. Lead and develop the Property Management team, fostering career growth. Monitor budget variances and oversee recovery processes. Manage billing processes, including invoice payments and fund disbursements. Oversee cash flow and requirements in collaboration with the Property Manager. Prepare reports, annual budgets, and other documents for owners per management agreements. Ensure prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements. Maintain relationships with third-party owners, ensuring compliance and timely reporting. Resolve tenant issues to ensure satisfaction. Conduct regular property inspections with staff. Oversee construction projects, including contract approval and invoice management. Ensure compliance with policies, codes, regulations, and governmental directives. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 5+ years in real estate property management or related experience. ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS CPM, RPA, or CSM designation Real estate license Strong knowledge of finance and building operations Proven management and leadership skills Experience in lease and contract negotiations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite WORK ENVIRONMENT Professional office setting with routine use of standard office equipment. Travel between properties is required, often in varying weather conditions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to travel, climb stairs, and operate office machinery. May need to remain stationary for extended periods.
