Candidates must have experience with Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations, Hemodynamic monitoring, IABP Placement/Removal, and Interpretation of dysrhythmias. Required skills include Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), and Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion. Candidates should be proficient in Scrub procedures and Temporary Pacemaker management. Additional responsibilities include Accurate Monitoring, Equipment setup, EKG lead placement, and Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. Maintaining a sterile field, room circulation, and Vascular Closure System usage is essential. The facility is a Short Term Acute Care, Magnet/Teaching, Level III Trauma center with 672 staffed beds.
