About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its University Hospital. The successful candidate will be a community-oriented and involved leader, serving as the most visible representative of the institution and actively engaging with various constituencies. This role is pivotal in driving the hospital's mission, particularly in the context of a significant capital investment aimed at modernizing and revitalizing its infrastructure and services. The CEO will be expected to be an effective ambassador, promoting a management style that is results-oriented, empowering, and approachable, and to lead the organization through a period of transformational change.

The ideal CEO for the company will be an innovative individual with a proven track record in operational transformation, culture change, and enhancing community access to high-quality healthcare. A key requirement is a demonstrated ability to implement and operationalize a strategic plan, as well as to build effective, trusting relationships with physicians, employees, and the community. The role demands a leader with over ten years of experience in a complex hospital or healthcare delivery system, with a preference for those who have worked within an academic medical center, teaching hospital, or safety net hospital setting. Experience in large-scale capital planning and construction is also highly desirable, given the company's current focus on infrastructure and service modernization. The CEO will be instrumental in driving accountability and must be prepared to lead the organization through a period of significant change and investment.
