About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President to join its Investment Management Legal team, with a focus on advising the Parametric and other investment management businesses on derivatives-related trading agreements and regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic legal team, working closely with business partners to support a range of investment products and client initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of external regulatory environments and trends relevant to asset management, particularly those related to the Commodity Exchange Act, National Futures Association rules, and other relevant laws. The Vice President will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a variety of complex agreements, including investment management and derivatives trading agreements, and will be expected to have a strong background in swaps, futures, options, and OTC derivative transactions.
Applicants for this role at the company should hold a J.D. from a nationally-recognized law school, be bar admitted, and have at least 6 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with a reputable law firm or asset manager. The position demands a candidate with a proven track record in engaging and overseeing external counsel, as well as significant experience in the legal aspects of derivatives trading and investment management.
