What You Will Be Doing
Orchestrating dynamic, responsive reading workshops that strengthen core literacy foundations in phonics, comprehension, and reading fluency Creating customized motivation frameworks that enhance student engagement through gamified reading achievements Leveraging student performance data to optimize instructional approaches and generate valuable insights Partnering with technology specialists to test and refine AI-powered literacy tools based on real classroom outcomes Creating adaptable content that customizes reading journeys for students with diverse learning profiles

Implementing inflexible, one-size-fits-all curricula that disregards individual student progress or data insights Dedicating excessive time to conventional lesson preparation, assessment grading, or administrative paperwork Operating in packed classrooms with inadequate educational resources Spending your day on classroom management issues instead of focused literacy instruction Working in professional isolation without contributing to program innovation or product enhancement
Literacy Program Coordinator Key Responsibilities
Engineer a scalable, technology-enhanced reading program that empowers early elementary learners to reach grade-level literacy proficiency while nurturing an enduring passion for reading and discovery.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree complemented by specialized certification in reading instruction methodologies (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, or comparable approaches) Minimum 2 years of proven experience delivering targeted reading interventions to small groups of early elementary students Demonstrated ability to evaluate reading capabilities, create strategic student groupings, and develop tailored instruction without relying on pre-packaged curriculum materials Demonstrated comfort with AI and adaptive learning platforms, including the ability to respond effectively to student interactions within these environments Authorization to work legally in the United States without requiring sponsorship Commitment to on-site work at one of our campus locations: Orange County or Santa Barbara, CA; Charlotte or Raleigh, NC; Manhattan, NY; or Chantilly, VA
