You'll orchestrate dynamic, technology-enhanced learning sessions, captivate young readers through strategic motivation techniques, and partner with our engineering team to enhance the digital tools powering our educational model.

What You Will Be Doing
Orchestrating dynamic, adaptive reading workshops that strengthen core skills in phonics, comprehension, and reading fluency Creating customized motivational frameworks that enhance student engagement through gamified reading achievements Interpreting student performance data to refine instructional approaches and generate valuable insights Partnering with our technology team to assess and improve AI literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes Creating adaptable content that customizes reading journeys for students with diverse learning profiles
What You Won’t Be Doing
Implementing one-size-fits-all curriculum that disregards individual student progress or data insights Devoting excessive time to traditional preparation, assessment grading, or administrative paperwork Teaching in under-resourced environments with too many students Spending your day on classroom management instead of focused literacy instruction Working in educational silos without contributing to broader program innovation or product enhancement
Reading Interventionist Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a scalable, AI-enhanced reading framework that empowers early elementary students to reach grade-level proficiency while fostering genuine enthusiasm for reading as a lifelong pursuit.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree plus specialized certification in reading instruction methodologies (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable approaches) Minimum 2 years of proven experience delivering targeted reading interventions to small groups of early elementary learners Demonstrated ability to evaluate reading capabilities, create effective student groupings, and develop customized instruction without relying on pre-packaged curricula Experience with AI/adaptive learning technologies and ability to respond effectively to student interactions within these platforms Authorization to work legally in the United States without requiring sponsorship Commitment to on-site work at one of our campus locations: Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; or Plano, TX

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
