Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Communicate with drivers, field staff, or technicians to provide instructions, updates, and respond to any issues. Use dispatch software and systems to track vehicles, deliveries, and service routes. Manage incoming service calls, prioritize requests, and assign tasks based on urgency and availability. Maintain detailed records of calls, schedules, and completed tasks, ensuring accuracy for reporting and compliance purposes. Quickly address and resolve delays, emergencies, or changes in schedules to maintain smooth operations. Provide excellent customer service by updating clients and stakeholders on the status of their requests. Monitor equipment or fleet maintenance schedules and coordinate necessary repairs with the appropriate department. Requirements Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, customer service, or a similar coordination role. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor. Proficiency in dispatch software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a high-pressure environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and handling schedules. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in logistics or transportation management are a plus.
