Location: Hybrid (3 days a week onsite) in Wilmington, DE 19803Job Type: 1 year contract with possible conversion to permanent or extensionCompensation Range: $60 - 65 per hourOur client in the Pharmaceutical industry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented media professional to support Health Care Professional (HCP) campaign planning and execution across our portfolio of pharmaceutical brands. This role is responsible for managing the entire media plan lifecycle, from partner vetting and selection through to campaign launch and optimization. The ideal candidate will ensure all media activities are compliant, meet performance goals, and are seamlessly integrated with overarching brand strategies.Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end media planning process for HCP-targeted campaigns across multiple brands. Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tactical media plans; support vendor selection and client-facing presentations. Provide strategic input on media channel mix, partner selection, and initial budget allocations to achieve campaign objectives. Oversee media partner onboarding, performance tracking, and in-flight program optimization to maximize ROI. Serve as the primary point of contact coordinating with media partners and internal teams on campaign launches, reporting, and mid-campaign adjustments. Maintain detailed campaign flowcharts and oversee the creation of media traffic workbooks and creative asset trackers. Execute key technical deliverables, including managing creative asset specifications, implementing brand safety protocols, and deploying ad verification tools. Ensure all media activities strictly comply with industry regulations (e.g., MLR processes) and internal standards. Assist in partner negotiations and foster ongoing, productive vendor relationships. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. 3-5+ years of experience in media planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors. Strong understanding of the HCP media landscape and key channels, including EHR, endemic sites, email, search, social media, and programmatic advertising. Familiarity with the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process and the broader pharmaceutical regulatory environment. Hands-on experience with media buying platforms, ad servers (e.g., Google Campaign Manager), and third-party ad verification tools (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify). Excellent organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to maintain strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience Direct experience working with pharmaceutical brands or at a healthcare-focused advertising agency. Proficiency with media analytics and reporting platforms. Experience managing multi-brand or portfolio-level media programs.
