Oakes Kiain North Kansas City, MO, is looking for a driven and experienced Producing Finance Director to lead our Finance & Insurance (F&l) department while actively participating in deal production. This hybrid role blends leadership with hands-on execution, helping drive profitability and ensuring exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
F&l Production Lead the presentation and sale of finance, insurance, and aftermarket products to customers. Cultivate and maintain relationships with a wide range of lenders and financial institutions to provide competitive financing options. Maximize per-vehicle revenue (PVR) by strategically selling a variety of products that add value to the customer. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation and deal funding. Maintaining minimum Sales Targets Leading by example and maintaining a positive attitude Team Leadership & Management Supervise, motivate, and mentor a team of F&1 managers to meet and exceed monthly goals and targets. Offer training, support, and feedback to ensure team members are up to date with product knowledge, compliance requirements, and best practices. Develop performance metrics and regularly review the team's progress to ensure continued growth and success. Collaborate with the General Sales Manager and other department leaders to improve sales strategies and processes. Operational & Strategic Oversight Operational & Strategic Oversight Analyze and track key F&l performance metrics such asPVR, product penetration, and chargebacks, and develop strategies to meet targets. Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as dealership policies and procedures. Oversee the timely and accurate submission of deals for funding and ensure proper reporting of finance and insurance revenues. Establish and maintain strong relationships with lenders, aftermarket vendors, and insurance providers to enhance the product offering and streamline operations. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of automotive F&l experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or director-level role. Demonstrated ability to consistently produce deals and achieve revenue goals. In-depth knowledge of automotive finance programs, lender relationships, and F&1 products. Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills, with a focus on developing and motivating a team. High ethical standards, customer-focused approach, and commitment to compliance. Proficient in dealership management systems (e.g., Dealertrack, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. Experience in a high-volume dealership environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
