Finance Director

to join our team in Valencia, CA. The Automotive Finance Director is responsible for overseeing the dealership’s finance and insurance operations. This role ensures that the F&I department operates efficiently, remains compliant with all regulatory requirements, and maximizes profitability while providing exceptional customer service. The Finance Director leads the F&I team, works closely with sales and accounting departments, and maintains strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions. Oversee daily operations of the F&I department to ensure efficient and compliant processing of all finance and insurance contracts. Train, coach, and manage F&I managers to maximize profitability through product sales (e.g., extended warranties, GAP insurance, maintenance packages). Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed department objectives, including PVR (Per Vehicle Retail), product penetration, and customer satisfaction targets. Maintain and grow relationships with financial institutions and lenders to secure competitive financing and leasing programs. Monitor and ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting the automotive F&I process (e.g., Truth in Lending, Fair Lending, Red Flags Rule). Prepare and analyze monthly performance reports and forecasts for the F&I department. Collaborate with the sales team to streamline the vehicle delivery process and improve customer experience. Implement and maintain best practices for paperwork accuracy and deal funding efficiency. Handle escalated customer finance concerns professionally and effectively. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive F&I, with at least 2 years in a leadership or director role. Proven track record of achieving high F&I gross and product penetration. Deep understanding of automotive finance products, lender programs, and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities. Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) and F&I software tools. High level of integrity and professionalism. What We Offer
