About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, driving financial strategy, and ensuring operational excellence across fiscal operations. This hands-on role involves overseeing all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, reporting, and audits, to maintain compliance and transparency. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing financial and operational policies that support the organization's mission of delivering high-quality, community-based services.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a proven track record as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance leader, preferably within the nonprofit, healthcare, or human services sector. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, with a CPA, MBA, or Master's in finance or public administration strongly preferred. The role demands a strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards, government contracts, and grant compliance, as well as experience in leading diverse teams, managing complex budgets, and implementing organization-wide process improvements.
