Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice, Inc. serves Southwest Florida through a variety of programs that provide services including but not limited to Pantry and Food, Direct Financial Assistance, Senior Programs, Behavior Health, Educational Programs for Children and Adults, Housing, Nutritional Programs and Anti-Human Trafficking based on a foundation of Catholic teachings.

The Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support to the DCMP. This group, led by Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice, is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive disaster response for Lee/Manatee/Charlotte/Desoto counties. The Admin Assistant will report to the Program Manager and work closely with other team members to support the group's goals and objectives

Job Responsibilities Schedule and organize meetings of the DCMP, including sub-committee meetings. Take minutes and manage correspondence related to the DCMP. Organize and maintain project documents and records, including data related to the group's progress and outcomes. Assist in managing financial documents, including processing invoices and receipts, reconciling bank statements, and monitoring budgets for the DCMP. Provide general administrative support to the DCMP, including data entry and report preparation. Assist with event planning and coordination related to the DCMP. Assist with donor outreach and communications related to the DCMP. Other duties as assigned. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Proven experience as an administrative assistant, or relevant role Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Knowledge of disaster recovery or non-profit organizations a plus
